FY2026 report leaves out 157,420.90 paid to providers

The County's FY2026 report certifies 1,957,800.23 expended from 07/01/2025 to 06/30/2026. Its eleven program figures, printed on pages 6 to 13, sum to that amount. Ten of them equal the payments on specific provider purchase orders to the cent. The County's vendor histories show four more payments in the same window that sit in no program figure and not in the total. Preferred Behavioral Health was paid 69,297.00 on 07/16/2025 (check 682724) and 57,312.46 on 08/06/2025 (check 683312) on purchase order 20240000651, its 409,559.00 case management contract of 01/23/2024. The FY2024 and FY2025 reports certified the rest of that contract, 58,711.00 and 224,238.54. Preferred was also paid 7,400.00 on 10/15/2025 (check 686654) on purchase order 20240007015. Hope Sheds Light was paid 23,411.44 on 05/06/2026 (check 697842) on purchase order 20250008845. The report counts the 209.26 paid on the same check and order from another unit, but not this leg. The four payments total 157,420.90. All went to treatment and recovery providers. The County reported less spending than its books show, not more.
