Summary
Randolph Township, Morris County, reports receiving 179,794.73 in opioid settlement money through 06/30/2026. That is 177,794.73 in settlement payments and 2,000.00 of interest. The money must go to the abatement uses the national settlements list, or to documented evidence-based programs that address the epidemic. It must add to local spending, not replace it.

Each was listed with funding "TBD" and no launch date.

What the records show
The account shows no payment and no order from 01/01/2022 to 12/04/2025. That matches the 0.00 the Township certified for FY2023, FY2024 and FY2025, and for FY2026 through 12/04/2025.
The reports do not agree with each other on the 2,000.00 of interest.
- The FY2024 report counts it. 35,880.24 plus 71,575.09 plus 2,000.00 is the 109,455.33 it certifies as received since 2022.
- The FY2025 report leaves it out. 109,455.33 plus 41,923.31 is 151,378.64. The report certifies 149,378.64, a total its question says includes interest.
- The FY2026 report counts it in the received total, 151,378.64 plus 28,416.09, which is 179,794.73. It leaves it out of the money on hand, 149,378.64 plus 28,416.09, which is 177,794.73.
With nothing spent, the money on hand equals the money received. The FY2026 report counts 2,000.00 as received that it leaves out of the money on hand.
The FY2024 report gives 128,299.43 unspent on hand. The same report says the Township had received 109,455.33 since 2022 and spent nothing. The figure on hand is 18,844.10 more than every dollar received. It equals the account balance after budget entry BUD 39 of 09/09/2024, which added an appropriation of 81,996.69. The balance on 06/30/2024 was 46,302.74. An appropriation is a budget figure, not money received. The FY2025 report then certifies 149,378.64 on hand after 41,923.31 more was received and nothing spent. That is 20,844.10 less than the FY2024 figure carried forward. The FY2024 report put 18,844.10 more on hand than the Township had received.
